Skin pigmentation treatment can be performed on any area of the body or face, such as the back, neck, décolletage, the backs of your hands, and more.
Raised Lesions
If you have developed raised lesions of a brown colour, an ablative laser will be utilised to remove them.
Some of the most common lesions are related to old age (Seborrheoic Keratoses) and moles. However, if there is any sign of their being related to skin cancer or melanoma, they will need to be examined thoroughly. In such cases, a sample will be subject to histology.
Freckles and Sun Damage
Any skin pigmentation issues relating to brown sun damage, freckles, and solar lentigos (caused by too much exposure to UV rays) should be treated with pigment laser technique.
These treatments stimulate collagen production to enhance the appearance of aged skin and sun damage.
