While any procedure comes with some risk, Vaser Liposuction seeks to lower or minimise issues via its use of tumescent fluid during the procedure. Incision points are also kept to a minimum so that a patient can expect a short recovery time. There is risk of bruising and scarring as incisions are required. Incision points with Vaser Liposuction are smaller than those experienced during other lipo techniques, and therefore less scarring is likely to occur. Incision points are also strategically planned as to further lessen any visual impact.
Immediately after the procedure, patients must rest for a minimum of 12 hours and avoid strenuous activity for a few days after. Patients can expect some light bruising and should wear compression garments for 3-6 weeks to assist in the healing process. Mild discomfort may be experienced for 2-5 days post-procedure.
If you have any concerns about the risks involved, book a consultation with us and we can discuss every aspect of the procedure and address any questions you may have.
