Liposuction surgery is a pretty straightforward procedure.
On the day of the procedure, the practitioner will give you twilight sedation and a numbing solution under the skin at the points of incision.
Small incisions are then made and a small ultrasound probe is placed under the skin through the incisions to the treatment area. The ultrasound helps to dissolve the fatty layer before it is removed through a cannula. A tumescent fluid is also used, which sedates the treatment area, breaking the fat down further. Vaser liposuction converts the fatty layer into a soft material with the consistency of butter, which allows it to be gently suctioned out.
The use of ultrasound also stimulates the production of collagen, which revitalizes the dermal cells so skin appearstauter, smoother, and younger following the procedure.
